It’s funny, how language can mean so many different things to people in time. Bodies conglomerate together through mutual backgrounds, personalities, interests and sports of sorts, and, together, they create their own form of language. When a new generous body enters the circle, they must learn to adapt in a new environment, for language games are at work here, and one must immerse oneself deep in the language in order to understand the substance of what is being said.

Blurght

1. A blurght is what most mathematicians use when their brain is wound up in complia sums. It releases the mind of tension and stress and relaxes your senses.

2. An improvised word of nonsense that relaxes you.

Far From / Close To In The Web

In Isexes, we have the expression, close to/far away in the web. This substitutes ‘that has nothing to do with+’ because in Isexes, everything has something to do with everything (ie. everything is related).

Knots & Ties

Knots & Ties = A method of cheating an Isexes sum without breaking the rules.

In KT (knots-&-ties) there is a weapon that one may use which compounds the KT they’ve used already. This is called personal KT.

‘No KT’ is supposed to be a shield against KT that (as you read above) means rudeness.

The defence for this is called Personal KT.

The warning is that if you use this, it is illegal and you could find yourself banned from learning Isexes.

Personal KT actually counts for KT. It should not really exist because KT means no tricks and Personal KT is a trick.

If this would be real, KT would not exist and there would be no KT anyway or Personal KT.

So Personal KT, whether it is there or not, should never ever be there because it is bad.

Masculine/Feminine Tails

Proctree

4/3/2020

Source: Dolimo Bunker, Guide to Isexes
In Isexes, proctrees are the diagrams that include everything in a sum, not how they are used. This includes subvalues and any types of values. A value label is a name we assign to a value that comes out of the web. Proctrees are like flowcharts. They are disposable webs used for only one sum.
Source: Dolimo Bunker, Isexercises
A proctree is a disposable web that is used within one sum. But the same proctree cannot be used in more than one sum. If something needs explaining, instead of writing it out, you logically draw out a proctree. Each sum is unique so each proctree must be unique. If the proctree is the same, the sum must be identical.

Rudeness

4/3/2020

Source: Dolimo Bunker, Guide to Isexes
If you are faced with a sum, the sum will usually give instructions. The way to get past these rules is by using knots & ties. In Isexes, knots & ties are illegal. Knots and ties mean any tricks or traps that help you to get past a rule without really obeying. It is a way of being pedantic and also a way to lose all marks on an exam paper. An example is using custom stems when it tells you not to, but the other side is that the person adds those stems into the proctree and that disrupts the balance of a sum. In this case, it is editing a sum and cleansing the self.
Source: Dolimo Bunker, Isexercises
If you use a custom string in Isexes, it is known as rudeness.  The technical name for this is a knot-&-tie. A knot-&-tie (KT) is a ‘crime’ in an Isexes sum such as cheating a proctree by adding a custom string leading straight towards the point of interest or using tricks and annotating, or answering the question in the way it does not want you to.

Significance

4/3/2020

Source: Dolimo Bunker, Guide to Isexes
You can have up to 20 values in a sum.

10 of these values are negative and 10 are positive.

Significance is the internal capacity of a value and depends on the significance of other values in the sum.

If it is a normal sum and everything is three‑dimensional, the values all have an equal significance.

Significance is what generates the numbers in an Isexes sum.

The maximum number is 10.

If it is a negative value, then the significance must not be higher than zero.

If it is a positive value, then the significance must not be lower than zero.

If it is a neutral value, then it must have a significance of zero.

Significance is very useful if you are testing whether the outcome of a sum is positive or negative.

Sub-Value

4/3/2020

Source: Dolimo Bunker, Guide to Isexes
A part of a value in a sum. A subvalue is called a visible doll if it is shown in an Isexes grid (see grid view)

A subvalue is a value within a value. To get the significance, you divide the whole value by the number of subvalues (if it is three dimensional)

For example, a week could be value A and a significance of 2.5. Divide that by the number of subvalues (in this case 7) so each day has a sub significance of 0.357. (In Isexes, numbers are always 3 decimal places.)

Here are some examples of expressions with subvalues.

Positive

I go to school five days a week.

Negative

I do not go to school five days a week.

Value

4/3/2020

Source: Dolimo Bunker, Guide to Isexes
When dealing with an Isexes sum, values are the building blocks. Values are rather like objects or parts of the sum in question. They are the concept of a sum.

There are up to 10 positive values and 10 negative values per sum, depending on the range.

You do not have to use all of them, but they must be used in order.

Each value is assigned to a value type. This is simply defining whether it belongs to the Common, Unique or Spur Layer in the web.

The way you write a value is to start by putting a lowercase v and then put the value type, represented as a superscript 1 (common layer), 2 (spur layer) and 3 (unique layer).

Then you put the value name (eg - A, B etc) in capital.

You finish by placing the significance number in subscript.

Notice - The superscript numbers come in the order of speed at which that layer of the web changes. The slowest web (Common) has the lowest value.

This gives us a way of showing how fast the sum changes if it has multiple types of values.
