Sam sees himself as being the natural leader of the new four, even though he is not the oldest. He has taken the role of leading Erik and Leanna under his wing by telling them about his person. Although he lives in London, he comes from a Welsh background, his parents live in Cardiff. Sam really tries hard to make friends with Erik and Leanna by doing stuff with them but he often wonders why Erik does not like him all the time. He has a very complicated love life, and is torn between Laura and Emma, his new girl. He likes a lot of things about Emma but finds her pushy. Sam can sometimes be a little bit grumpy. People always like Sam especially the girls. In recent times in the hospital Sam has had a confusing relationship with girls. Sam normally works 24 hours a day but has some breaks. He is a doctor at Sisorca Hospital. He likes his job a 100 percent because it is his favourite job he has had so far. His family lives in Cardiff. Sam’s birthday is on the 26 July. Sam has a mother called Donna and his dad is called Owen. He has a younger brother called Tom Morris. He is 25.  

Samuel J. Morris, born on 26th July 1976 in Cardiff, Wales, the eldest of the two sons of Owen and Donna Morris, his younger brother Tom being two years his junior.

Sam, although one of the youngest in his year group at school, was one of the popular kids, always being in with the right crowd.

When he was eighteen, he studied medicine at the University of London, and soon qualified to become a doctor in 2000. Sam was soon promoted to head doctor at Sisorca Hospital, where he met his then girlfriend, Laura Hill.

Sam spent a number of years at the hospital, drifting between long-term relationships with Laura Hill and Emma Patel, and also enjoying casual flings with Sarah Winchley, Emma Notnub and Cassandra Silverspoon, but his heart was never settled. Finally, in 2002, Sam met the love of his life, Sophie Oliver, whilst on holiday in Escaletaña in the south of Spain. Sophie moved back to London with him, and he gave her a job at the hospital.

Sam is noted for mixing business with pleasure, and often confusing the two, or putting pleasure ahead of his work. Sam's appointment of Sophie Oliver as head nurse caused great controversy at the hospital, and resulted in Leanna Sethsson (who had applied for the position) handing in her notice.
